Again, I am tired. There seems to be a trend... well running really does tire me out! I can't wait for when school starts and I have to deal with that, too.
I haven't been up to much recently, just running and finishing homework. Good news, though. Today my coach told me that at our first meet (invitational, actually) I'll be running varsity! That's top 7 for those who don't know about cross country. So I'm excited. But it's a lot of pressure! I'm also really nervous. Hopefully I won't disappoint. That's not for another week and a half, though. Cross your fingers for me! I'll be sure to mention how I do!
Tonight I finished a large portion of my AP American History homework. We're supposed to write an essay, read 5 chapters in the book and take notes on them, memorize the states and capitals, and memorize the presidents, their terms, and parties. Yeah, it's a LOT. But I finished the chapters and note-taking. I'm already done with the states and I almost have the presidents memorized. I'm going to write the essay tomorrow. I'll be so relieved when everything is done! Of course, then school will have started so I'll have other work to do. It never ends...
I've actually been pretty busy trying to coordinate times to hang out with my friends this week. A lot of my friends leave for college (or have already left) and I have to try to find time to see them one last time before they leave. It's crazy! It's sad, too. I'll miss them, but it's not like we can't communicate with each other through phone calls, texting, email, Facebook, AIM... :-p

Whew, what a day. We did soooo much shopping today! But I got most of it done thankfully. I finally found a fridge I like that isn't huge, but big enough. Funny story though... We were looking at the mini fridges and I picked out the one I liked, a 3.1 cubic feet silver one for like $95. So the box for that one was a bit ripped up so I suggested we get the one sitting on the shelve above. So we pay... alot... and then we got home and showed my uncle the fridge. And he's like "is it black?" and I was like "no, it's platinum coated" because I remembered reading it on the box. So turns out we got the wrong fridge! Not only was it too big, it was $50 more than the other one. And my dad claims he noticed but didn't want to say anything because he'd be wrong. So after dinner we had to take it back to Target and exchange for the smaller, less expensive one. But we got it! And I found a little printer for a good price and a whole lot of other things. Now I just have some small things left like pencils, tissues, etc.
I still don't think I've realized I move into my dorm Saturday and I'll be away from my parents for 4 months. I wish everyone would quit talking about it though. I feel like that's all anyone says to me. "Next year blah blah blah", "you'll have so much fun blah blah blah", "I wish I was going back to college", it's getting annoying! Sometimes I just wish they'd stop, but I know they're doing it because I'm leaving soon. And I know they love me, and I just feel suffocated because I'm so close to leaving, so I'll deal.
In other news, there's so much freaking drama around this house I'm going to go crazy. My uncle's wife (third wife) is psycho. I'm not saying that to be mean either, we all honestly believe she has a mental illness. So they've been trying to convince my uncle about all that and he's in total denial because she has him brainwashed. But I think some things have finally sunk in and he left her tonight (which he does a lot actually), but I think it might actually be the last time. Then again, he always go crawling back when she cries and begs him to, so we'll see. It's totally ruining my trip though. My mom is so involved that the whole time we were shopping today she kept getting calls from both my uncles and she'd stand in the store talking forever so we couldn't get any shopping done. It just made shopping with my mom not fun, which sucks. But come Saturday I'm done with this crap. I'm not going to let my mom discuss it with me unless she says "they finally got a divorce, it's final" then it'll be over and we won't have so much freaking drama.
Other than the drama though, all is well here! I'm just getting ready to spread my wings and fly! haha, we'll see. Adios!

...and how they manage their lives.
I'm Kerry. I'm from the big 'ole state of Texas. I am going to be attending Stephen F. Austin State University in the fall of 2008. I have 11 siblings and I'm the 5th youngest. I've been around PurplePjs for approximately two years now. I have a Golden Retriever/Cattle Dog Mix named Zoey. I love to hang out with my friends, catch a movie, read a good book, or listen to some awesome Country/Christian Music. My favorite color is purple and I can't live even part of the day without my cell phone. :)
